IBV participates in webinar “Fairness for women as users of surface transport services

Represented by Begoña Mateo and Ricard Barberà the Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) participates in the webinar organized within the framework of the DIAMOND project.

The DIAMOND Project wants to invite you to take part in a new interactive webinar conference to discuss about the barriers and facilitators faced by women as users of surface transport.

The webinar will take place on March 18th 2021 (14:00 - 16:30 GMT time / 15:00 - 17:30 CET). 

The format will be a panel discussion between our academic researchers and you, the professionals from the transport sector and other transport experts, with the objective to ensure relevant findings are translated accurately into interesting outputs suitable for transport organisations. 

Topics for discussion

 • Exploring the challenges faced and good practices found in transport organisations surrounding appropriate considerations for women as users of metro & railways, bike sharing services and autonomous vehicles.

 • The development of a benchmarking or maturity model for fairness in the use of different surface transport services

 • A workshop discussion to summarise key areas of future work and data collection
