Smart wheelchairs to prevent pressure ulcers

Research *EU Results Magazine issue past May released an article regarding PUMA project, technically leaded by IBV.

You can download this issue in the following link in order to read Smart wheelchairs to prevent pressure ulcers.

PUMA project has designed a novel portable and non-invasive system to prevent and early detect the risk of Pressure Ulcer (PU) development and revert its onset at Tetraplegic Spinal Cord Injured (T-SCI) individuals relying on wheelchairs, based on the control and improvement of tissue viability.
