Simon Mobile is an application for navigation, orientation and parking designed for persons with reduced mobility. In Madrid, Parma, Lisbon and Reading, it provides access to important accessibility information such as the location of disabled parking spots or the location of elevators and ramps to access subway stations. With Simon Mobile, it is possible to compute walking, driving and transit routes and use step-by-step navigation during a trip.

idICT project kick-off meeting

Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) will host next 24th November the kick-off meeting of the project "Development of a training program for improving the Quality of Life of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities through the use of ICT solutions" ( idICT).

To celebrate International Older Person’s Day on 1st October 2015 the Prevention of Falls Network for Dissemination (ProFouND) consortium, with members throughout Europe delivered flash mobs and/or took part in strength and balance exercise classes to raise awareness of falls prevention.
