Zoles is a Danish company that makes custom-made insoles for everyday use and sports, using artificial intelligence, robotics and 3D technology to deliver high quality orthopedic and sports insoles. For several years, they have integrated DomeScan/IBV technology (a low-cost scanner for stores that generates a 3D digital reconstruction of the shape of the foot and calculates its measurements and the recommended shoe size in just a few seconds) into their process at different locations through the so-called "ZOLES Kiosk", which can be found in 20 Scandinavian sports stores and clinics.

Last June, the first two ZOLES kiosks were opened in Spain, at Club La Santa in Lanzarote. Using their technology, Zoles scans the subject's feet, calculates the optimal foot position in standing, walking, and running positions, and based on that information plus some qualitative data, the 3-dimensional shape and interior construction of the insole is designed based on biomechanical parameters.
