Since its activation in 2015, IBV has scanned, through its foot reconstruction service, almost 400,000 feet belonging to users from 139 different countries and dozens of client companies.

This service is integrated into DomeScan/IBV (a low-cost scanner for stores that generates a 3D digital reconstruction of the shape of the foot and calculates its measurements and the recommended shoe size in just a few seconds) and 3D Avatar Feet (a technology to scan the foot in 3D with only three photographs), and allows our clients to obtain a 3D model and more than 20 measurements of the scanned feet. With this information, footwear manufacturing companies or shops obtain very valuable information that helps them to recommend a shoe size or design personalized footwear tailored to the customer.

IBV continues to improve this service and plans to integrate deep learning algorithms and artificial intelligence in the coming months that will make the taking photos process easier, which will result in greater reliability and robustness of the results.
