Since October 2019, the Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) expands the scope of its accreditations:

♦ By FIFA and World Rugby, for both field and laboratory product tests. In this way, IBV becomes the only Spanish laboratory accredited for the homologation of football and rugby fields of artificial turf.

♦ By FIFA, as the only Spanish laboratory recognized for the certification of surfaces for the practice of indoor soccer (FUTSAL).

♦ By FIBA, as the only Spanish laboratory accredited to test: backstop, basketballs, flooring (synthetic and wooden) and seating systems.

 IBV is consolidated as a reference center for innovation in sport and reinforces its leadership in the sports sector as a reference center in the conformity assessment of the product, equipment and sports surfaces.
