Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) hosted last week the kick-off meeting of the project InKreate (Transfer the real 3D world to interactive creative endeavours in apparel industry).

InKreate will solve the problems holding back the implementation of low cost 3D scanners and 3D sketching tools by helping the European creative apparel SMEs to reduce the timing and the cost of the design process.

The partners of this initiative, besides IBV as coordinator, are BROWZWEAR INTERNATIONAL LTD, FUTURE IN TEXTILES ASSOCIATION, KOZOMARA ZORANA, ASSOCIACAO TEXTIL E VESTUARIO DE PORTUGAL, ASOCIACION TEXTIL DE GALICIA, CONFECCIONES M.R.F. SA, TITERA, TEHNICNO INOVATIVNE TEHNOLOGIJE, DOO, KATTY FASHION SRL and P&R TEXTEIS SA.

All of them took part at the meeting hosted last week by IBV.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 731885.
