First midterm meeting of the ERASMUS+ Project, leaded by IBV, Train4HCWork

Human centred manufacturing is one of the research and innovation priorities of the European agenda. The workplaces of the future will give much more importance to human knowledge, skills and cultural background, in particular through life-long learning and training.

The members of the Train4HCWork Consortium (Instituto de Biomecánica -IBV- as coordinator, IAD (TUD) – Technische Universitat Darmstadt, FEES – Federation of European Ergonomics Societies, UGA – Universite Grenoble Alpes and Structo Ingenieros Consultores S.L.) will develop and implement a new online course focused on the design of human-centred workplaces that will contribute to address such challenges.

During this midterm meeting, Consortium have organized next months work. Among other milestones, it is foreseen an international dissemination event in February in Darmstadt. Professionals in the design of workplaces, processes and machinery, responsibles for production design, working equipment and tools design are invited and also health and safety managers, consultants who provide services related to these issues to industry, and human resources professionals.
