José Laparra, IBV Human Factors Head researcher, took part in the 8th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics last 21st of July in two sessions:
- Session 221. Smart Design and User Experience. Laparra presented Usability model based on traditional metrics and physiological and eye tracking variables depending on user profile (Jose Laparra-Hernández, Juanma Belda-Lois and Alvaro Page, Spain).
- Session 234: Neuroergonomics Theory and Design II. Laparra presented Physiological model to classify physical and cognitive workload during gaming activities (Néstor Arroyo, Jose Laparra-Hernández, Andrés Soler, Enrique Medina and Helios de-Rosario, Spain).
The conference objective was to provide an international forum for the dissemination and exchange of scientific information on theoretical, generic, and applied areas of human factors and ergonomics.
