IBV will participate in the Workshop organized by QIMOVA in RehaCare

The workshop will take place next Wednesday, September 18 at 3:00 p.m. in room 6 CCD, South, during which the disruptive technology of the LiveRest system for the prevention of pressure ulcers will be presented.

It is an intelligent control system based on intelligent textiles to reduce the risk of pressure ulcers in real time by measuring the viability of the tissue and triggering intelligent prevention strategies that adapt to the user and the context.

This initiative, led by the company Qimova, is being carried out within the framework of the LiveRest project, SME INSTRUMENT Phase 2. The IBV participates in this project carrying out the activities of sensor tuning, algorithm development and design of the dynamic cushion.

 This project has received  funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement Nº 830134
